TV COMMERCIALS

It was a really hot day (105 degree F) and there was no fan/AC due to voice recording in the studio but every talent and crew members did a wonderful job.
Commercials always require hard work due to long wait times and repetitive scene cuts. The tension on the set always gets me excited.

WEDDINGS

There's nothing more accomplishing and warming than seeing the smiles on the brides' faces after I take part in their most important day of their lives.

"Oh Jenny, I couldn't do it without you today. You made me more beautiful!"
-This phrase has never failed to fill my heart with warmth and joy.

FASHION AUDITORIAL

This look was inspired by MUSE

About a year ago, I went to Sea World with my family and came across a section where they showcased tropical birds. I was really captivated by the birds' extravagant colors and their beautiful feathers. I thought to myself then that I wanted to try this particular hair and make up theme for my next portfolio.

HANBOK

These are traditional Korean Hanbok shots from my portfolio. These beautiful Korean Hanbok were designed by Mi Hee Kim, who has also designed the dress worn by a Hollywood actress, Sandra Oh (from Grey's Anatomy), during the Emmy Awards. Photo by taek taekphoto.com

I spent approximately two days braiding human hair to extend on to the model's short hair. Traditional Korean women (married) from before the nineteenth century wore a wig around their heads, called gache, as bigger fuller hair was desired and viewed as more aesthetic. The braided hair that was extended on to the model's hair weighed approximately four pounds. The extended hair could have been a burden on the model but she was very excited and enjoyed the shoot.

The make up was done to make the model appear more like a Korean doll.
